Getting Started with SharePath

Welcome to SharePath

SharePath tracks how your brand appears in AI-generated answers across platforms like ChatGPT, giving you clear data on your visibility, sentiment, and competitive ranking. This guide walks you through creating your account and getting the most out of the Analytics dashboard.

Creating Your Account

To get started, visit sharepath.ai and click Sign Up in the navigation bar.

  • Enter your email address and choose a password.
  • Check your inbox for a verification email and click the confirmation link.
  • Once verified, you will be redirected back to SharePath to continue setup.

If you see a banner asking you to accept the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy, click Accept to proceed — this is required before accessing your workspace.

Starting Your Free Trial

After verifying your email you will land on the plan selection page. SharePath offers a 7-day free trial on the SharePath Monthly plan ($45/month USD) — no charge until the trial ends.

  • Review the plan features: AI visibility tracking, brand mention monitoring, competitor benchmarking, and source/citation insights.
  • Click Continue to Checkout.
  • Complete the Stripe payment form. Your card will not be charged until the 7-day trial ends.
  • You will be redirected to a setup screen while SharePath syncs your subscription and workspace permissions. This takes around 5–10 seconds.
  • Once complete, you are automatically taken to your Analytics dashboard.

Your Analytics Dashboard

The Analytics dashboard is your home base. It gives you a real-time picture of how often AI models mention your brand, how you rank against competitors, and how sentiment is trending.

Key Metrics Cards

Four cards at the top of the dashboard summarise your most important numbers:

  • Visibility Share — the percentage of tracked AI prompts where your brand is mentioned. A donut chart shows your share vs your top 2 competitors.
  • Market Rank — your average ranking position across all LLM citations compared to competitors. Lower is better (1st = highest visibility).
  • Recent Mention Rank — your average rank within the last 10 brand mentions, giving a short-term view of how you are trending.
  • Sentiment Ratio — a breakdown of how AI models describe your brand: Positive, Neutral, or Negative.

Each card shows a 30-day delta so you can see whether your numbers are improving or declining over time.

Visibility Trends Chart

Below the metric cards, the Visibility Trends chart plots your brand visibility as a percentage over time, with competitor lines overlaid for comparison.

  • Use the time period selector (Weekly, Monthly, Quarterly, Yearly) to zoom in or out.
  • The Y-axis represents the percentage of relevant queries where your brand is mentioned.
  • A trend indicator shows your change vs the start of the selected period.

Leaderboard

The Leaderboard ranks the top brands by visibility percentage over the last 30 days. Use it to benchmark your position against the competition at a glance. Gold, silver, and bronze icons highlight the top three positions.

Recent Mentions

The Recent Mentions table shows the last 10 times an AI model mentioned your brand. Each row displays the AI platform, a snippet of what was said, the sentiment of the mention, and your rank position in that response.

Using Filters

Three filter dropdowns sit above the dashboard to help you slice the data:

  • Tags — filter by the prompt tags you have configured (e.g. product category, market segment).
  • Models — choose which AI model providers to include in the results. At least one model must be selected.
  • Competitors — select which competitor brands appear on the charts.

Filters update the dashboard automatically after a short delay. They reset when you switch between workspaces.

Next Steps

Now that you're familiar with the Analytics dashboard, explore the rest of your workspace:

  • Brand Kit — upload your brand assets and configure how SharePath identifies your brand in AI responses.
  • Paths — use the Kanban-style content workflow to create articles and improve your AI visibility score.
  • Settings — manage your workspace preferences, team members, and billing.
